Back in the late 70s-early 80s GM had the V8-6-4.

Bad idea then, bad idea now.

Maybe thats one of the reasons they keep needing bailouts?

Ive got that modern electronic AM/FM radio in my 65s dash with 2 speakers in the shelf. I would prefer the crappy old AM or a AM/FM with the single dash speaker. That was good enough for me growing up, its still good enough for me now.
