Installing AAW harness & DD VHX

Confused on what wires to connect to DD control box and from what connector. Trying to install new AAW harness and DD VHX at same time
on Chevelle SS 67.

Re: Installing AAW harness & DD VHX

I am not familiar with the 67 dash harness but looking at photos, it appears relatively similar to a 70. You basically cut the end of the dash plug off (large black connector with 6-7 metal contacts on each side) and use those wires to feed into the DD box. You may want to go one at a time with a wiring schematic so you can follow the pinout on the plug and know exactly what wire controls what function. Add a power source and ground, and you should be good to go.

In the photo below, the dash plug is in the 3 o'clock position directly next to the fuse block.

Re: Installing AAW harness & DD VHX

That's sort of what I'm doing. there are connectors a&b that connect to this and that's the wires I'm using. just not sure. Spoke with AAW and they don't have a diagram for this.

This is for a 66, but is likely pretty similar. You can find them on ebay, and is worth buying a laminated copy.

Sorry, I just saw this. I have been on the road at shows the last few weeks. I'm afraid that I can be of no help as we are not familiar with the DD VHX box that you are referring to.
