no sweat, Philip was thinking you would be way ahead of the game starting with a driving 66 el camino vs building the roller you bought off Don.

Hey how are you? Are you going to Super Chevy next Fri/Sat? I am going to attend and have secured a friends late model truck and trailer to bring some parts to the swap. Anything you need for your projects and or customers?

Jim, I called the guy with the 66 2 door post. He told me the sheet metal and front suspension was all off, the floors need replaced, no windshield, no interior, no motor............I decided to pass. I don't need another project right now anyway, but thanks for the info......

hey Dan. What kind of old cars do they have over there? I imagine in the desert and the country being a bit like a 3rd world country, probably lots of old iron sitting in the desert. Imagine finding a old rolls royce left over from WWII or something.
Be careful and get home safe. Jim

just install the pedals. the Z bar brackets bolts to the frame with the 2 bolts, install the pivot ball into the block, mount the Z bar. The long rod goes from the clutch pedal to the top of the Z bar, then the short stubby rod goes from the bottom of the Z bar to the clutch fork. Just remember the Z bar is just a pivot point, when you get under the car, it gets pretty self explanitory. if you have any questions feel free to ask. Wait until the first time you row through the gears, its worth all the aggrevation. Dont forget to install the clutchfork before you install the tranny. also dont beat on the pilot bushing, I used some emery to clean out the pilot hole in the back of the crank. jim
