Front end work

Well If I took my car to a mechanic I would have a good amount of money leaving my pocket to get my front end done. Not to mention the parts cost. What do you guys know about front end work? I think i'm at a good mechanical level to work on my engine but I'm not to sure about the front end, should I leave this job to a professional and lose money im already short on or try to do it myself?

Do it yourself. It's very straight forward and easy to do with a few common tools. For a step-by-step instuction on doing it, drop me an e-mail request for my front end paper to:
[email protected]
This paper details the process on a '64 Corvette, but the GTO and GM A-body cars follow the same basic procedure since the front ends are almost identical. The paper contains a few unique processes to the Corvette chassis, but the GTO will use the same techniques, tools, and methods.
