Never heard of a factory built Judge with a sunroof.

But then, there is lots of stuff I don't know.

There was a '72 Buick Skylark with a sunroof. The sunroof was added by the American Sunroof Corp, NOT GM. So, a previous owner may have seen one & had a sunroof put in his Judge

ASC also installed sunroofs in other American built cars & supposedly made the Hurst Hatch T-tops.

I do know that there were some specialty Pontiac cars built, like a Hurst Grand Prix, that had a sunroof.

If you get the build sheet from PHS that should let you know if it was original. It sounds like an aftermarket item. If you like the sun roof go for it unless you plan to flip it.

They were called 'moon roofs' back then, and many, many, many of them were installed from the mid '70's to the early '80's. Not factory. And expensive to fix. But a great bargaining chip for buying the need to factor in the cost of a new roof. I would say in today's world, it is about a $7000---$10,000 hit on the price.
