Bested my personal best

I went back to Dinwiddie VMP saturday. No more mods done to the car since last time. I ran a little quicker this time mostly because my 60' was better. My MPH was the same. I tell people the mods I have done to the car and they seem surprised how well it runs. Here is a link to my youtube channel with a few vids...

I gotta question some 1 might b able to help me with I just bought an 04 GTO and the guy that sold it to me really got me lol I think it has a bad head gasket amongst a bunch of other suspension part which I knew about just not the head gasket instead of just replacing the head gasket I'm gonna redo the engin which brings me to my ? What packages are out there with cam and heads and everything i might need or if some 1 could tell me the best results they came up with I'd like to get it around 5 600 hp any advice

You are a NOOB so I wont destroy you too much. Here is a little etiquette advice. When you have a question first use the search option. Many people out there have probably had the same problem as you and have a complete write-up on how to fix the problem. Second, if you can not find any info from searching create a post in the proper technical forum stating the problem you are having and ask for any advice. This is the "kill and race" forum. It is rude to come on to this guys thread, take attention away from what he is putting out there and asking for help with your POS. Give the guys props, ask him relevant questions whatever, but dont ask some totally random question about your blown HG.


To the OP before I got distracted lol, what mods do you have on your goat? 12.2 is pretty good

Hey! Thanks! My mods are in my sig. I ran a 12.2 without the stall. When I ran the 12.2 the DA was -500', 57 degrees and 29% humidity at around 1pm. I went back after I installed the stall and the da was right at 1000', temps in the mid 70's late in the evening and 94% humidity and ran a 12.3 1/4 with a 1.747 60' and a 7.8 in the 1/8th. I will go back around november-december when it isn't as warm and humid and hopefully run a 12.00 or maybe skim a high 11 second run. I also need a tune for the converter.

cool man. i just converted from hondas so i have no clue what a stall is or what DA is.
