Intake Manifold Paint Code 1965 GTO

I am beginning a restoration on my 1965 GTO and need a paint code for the intake manifold. It is a blue color and I can get a close match; however, I want it to be the exact color that it is supposed to be.
Thanks,

Click on the picture to go to the supplier that sells this paint, do a keyword search for "engine paint"

If im not mistaken in '66 they had a brighter blue so be sure to order the correct blue.

Thanks so much. I am new to this world so a appreciate any and all help that I get. My Dad left me the GTO when he passed. He bought it new in late 64. Because of how he raced it and changed motors all the time the original 389 tri-power is lost forever but I'm going to do my best to find one as close to matching as possible. My brother bought an intake for me for Christmas and I am slowly collecting data to get everything done the right way.
Thanks again,
PJ

Sounds like a very nice project!!
Not only is that color correct for the intake manifold, but for the rest of the long block too. Post some pictures if you get a chance and welcome to the forums.

I have a 65 too and the 500 degree paint is not adequate to protect the exhaust ports (on both the intake and heads). The 500 degree is the only correct match though. I've used the VHT 2000 degree light grey as a base and then coated with the 500 degree and at least the ports don't burn completely off. It will still look burnt, but not as bad.
