Yes, here are some examples of how the columns were painted (scroll about 2/3rds of the way down).

The upper and lower bowls are the column parts that should be painted the correct shade of green on your particular column.

Only black interior cars and parchment interior cars received the fully black painted columns through '69 models. This changed for '70 models with the factory option of the Formula steering wheel. For '70 model Pontiac A-body's, if Formula wheel was factory ordered, the car came with a black steering column. things got a little crazy for '71, but nearly always, that held true for '71 model Pontiac Abodys, as well.

Does the steel dash top part on a 69 get semi gloss paint or flat? Also. Do the steering column bowls get semi gloss or flat paint?? Thanks

the top of the dash uses a special flattening agent that gives the color a suede like finish. The upper bowls of the steering columns are closer to semigloss, but like on black for instance, am no longer a fan of semigloss Krylon 1613, it's too dull.
