In theory, I'm supposed too... I don't know for sure just yet.

I'll be there, but you're just going to hate me when I tell you where. My company, Bashas', sponsors the Busch-series race in the spring, but we're a year-round PIR supporter and we run the tent store at the track. I'll be up in a suite on Sunday.

Not gonna be able to make it. Sorry. Allthough, that doens't mean us AZ GTO owners can't get together some other time or what not!

well what'd you think about the race? i did see one goat there. not sure if he/she's on this board or not it was a yellow 04. i enjoyed the race. the jarret wreck was right in front of where we were sitting. pretty cool! this is the second nascar race that i've gone to and both times our seats were right off of turn 4. both times there were pretty decent wrecks right in front of us too.

My buddy and I left around lap 270 to beat the traffic. I was home in East Mesa by 5:00! A co-worker of mine (one of our VPs) stayed 'til the end and didn't get home to Chandler until 8:30. What with the race ending about the same time as the Cardinals game, the freeways must've been awful.

Life in our suite was nice--lots of free food and drink, plus a really great hostess who took good care of us. Bobby Labonte visited us at 9:30. I got his autograph and wished him well. Nice guy.

We also had wristbands that got us into the pits, so my friend and I wandered around there for a bit. The coolest thing was the terrace passes, which got us up onto the very top of the suites out in the open air. Nice vantage point up there.

By the way, a co-worker who's a pilot flew me over the track one day last week, and I took this photo:
