intermediate wiring ribbon fork 66 gto

I think this is an easy one for many of you but my car has been "gone through" so many original parts are MIA. On my 66 got the intermediate wiring harness - specifically the wire ribbon that runs all the rear lights that runs under the driver seat...... where does the little plastic fork thingy go? About 16 inches down the ribbon are two plastic prongs, think they plug in somewhere near the fuse block or e brake bracket but can't figure it out. Help anyone?
