I bought a new sender for my rebuilt 400 (1972). I asked the parts guy if this was for an idiot light (which I have) or a gauge. He said it says for a gauge and lists no other. Is this compatible with both and will it read (or work) correctly?
This sender has a single button head style terminal. It sounds like I should have a three spade style terminal for my idiot light as per someone else's advice.

First post here, just got my 64 back on the road after collision repairs to the rear end. I picked up this car at auction. And I love my car as it has been a long dream to own one.
Thought I would post for any insights before I go fully down the rabbit hole.
Both left and right turn signals...
