Using the forum correctly

I'm a guy with GTO questions, but I'm not experienced at using forums. I posted a new member post and I think that thread was deleted, cause I can't see it anymore.

Question: Information about steps to take before starting a car parked 5 years ago. Is the best place to look in restoration?

Might work, but it would be better in "Technical" or "General" forum. Either way, you should get a reply quick enough.

I ended up putting it in restoration.
Finished the job before getting any responses, but got some response that may be helpful to others.
Thanks
