Any ideas what this spindle is off of?

Alright folks, just got a 1966 Caprice that was basically an abandoned project. Unfortunately, the guy I bought it from didn't do the work so he isn't able to answer many questions regarding what was done. (He purchased it and it sat for a few years before he realized he wasn't going to get to it anytime soon between his business and several other cars.)

Anyhow, someone began a disc brake conversion on the car. It has an aftermarket master cylinder and booster and what looks like factory spindles & caliper brackets off of something but I don't know what the donor car was so not sure what calipers & rotors to get. Any ideas?

Definitely not a 94-96 Impala Dave, I worked on quite a few of those years ago. It's hard to tell from the picture I posted but the caliper bracket is bolted on to the spindle, not cast as one piece. It's an older piece but I just can't place it by looking at it.

Any ideas guys?

The rotors measure 11.5" in diameter, the dust shields have an old GM number of 3953421 L (on the left), and the caliper bracket number looks like either a 3972858 or perhaps 3977858. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a listing for the numbers yet.

.....the 3953421 left dust shield part # comes up as fitting 68-70 pass (full size) single piston caliper disc brakes as 3953422 is right side. I couldn't find the bracket part numbers.
I would assume that your set up is from one of these years. Pretty popular conversion.
It's stated 68-70, but I bet it would be very late 68 as I usually hear that parts used are 69-70 model years.

You are the man!!!

Very much appreciated. I Googled my way to China and back but couldn't find that part number to save my life. Now I've got something to work with.
