1962 Impala suspension

Good morning everyone! I just received my front and rear "Hotchkis" sway bars. I was thinking of buying "Hotchkis" lower and upper rear trailing arms as well as their front upper and lower A-arms. Does anyone have any experience with this product. The stuff is pricey. Just wondering if it is worth the money? My car is just a street car. 383 with a turbo 400. Thnx.

The rear control arms will be needed with a 383's power (don't forget that is the same size motor as the baby big block used in Plymouth Road Runners and Dodge Chargers). So yes an upgraded in your rear control arms is in order (especially if you are missing one from up top).

The tubular A-arms would be a good investment if you are planning to do anything more than drive to car shows and the occasional blast down the strip. The factory parts are quiet flimsy and prone to deflection under loading.

Thnx Big Dave. The car is only going to see the street and shows. Going to get new stuff in the rear. I will leave the front alone.
