need brake booster check valve

My '62 was converted to power brakes. The booster has a grommet but no valve. I looked up 1962 Chevrolet on the NAPA site and went and got one. It is the same size as all my other cars, about 1/2" diameter. The hole in the booster grommet is about 13/16ths. I've looked at many on-line catalogs for a larger valve and haven't been able to find one. Is the booster the PO installed a morphadite or are all the catalogs wrong ??

Anyone run into this and have a part number for a larger valve ?

The common number for the smaller valve is 89000

I would suspect the booster. Is it an AC/Delco part?

I'm thinking it's an odd-ball booster too. I didn't see any markings but it's old.
I moved the car to longer term storage this morning. I have to bring 3 more home from off site storage on Friday and don't know where I'm going to put them....

They will all get moved around again over the next few weeks and the Impala will end up accessible again. It WILL get driven this summer...

Garage
Would something like this work? Sounds like the booster came of a newer car.

Looks like the second one might work. O Rielly's has one in stock that I will get tomorrow.

Thanks for the link. I'll get back with how it fits.
