New front end kit

I guess I should have checked here first before purchasing the kit. Has anyone bought a front end rebuild kit from classic industries? I was curious if anyone had any install issues for 65-66 impala.

I went the original rubber route. I did my 65 in poly and I loved it, figured I would try the rubber this time.

I bought my front end kits from Global West so any information I have is irrelevant.

I couldn't imagine very many companies make them though. I buy a lot of stuff from classic industries. I never really know what I'm getting though because their description of products and parts included is horrible. However, I haven't gotten any garbage products from them, and my packages always come on time, for that I will continue buying parts from them.

I buy MOOG, from local suppliers. Great quality, good prices, no shipping.

Two doors, four doors, wagons, and ragtops.

I can't help much either, I bought my upper A-arms from Global West and the rest of the front-end stuff from Rock Auto. (where you can select from various brands)

No issues there.

Back when I bought my front end kits Global West only included American made Moog parts in their kits. About the only thing they made where their cheesey polyurethane bushings that they claimed never needed lubrication.

They claimed the carbon impregnated in the plastic would lubricate the bushing. Not the greatest of ideas. I had to take them back apart and drill grease channels and then install Zerk grease fittings to end the squeaking. But after that they were great.
