lower front 2 inch

64 impala 327 to high in the front , , any drop coils made out there that are engineered and not just cut down . Just want to lower front end a bit without all the garbage that goes with it, ALIGNMENT again , I would be happy with 1/12 to 2 ..don't want to do the drops spindle thing

Moog has a catalog full of springs wound for all kinds of applications. You need to first research your current free spring height (no weight on the spring out of the car), wire thickness, coil diameter and type (pig tail, open coil or ground flat on the bottom), and finally the spring rate. Once you know that you can look in the catalog to find a spring with same specs only a little bit stiffer spring rate and has two inches less free height.

If you want to drag race the car you also want that with a smaller diameter wire so that it stores more energy on compression. If road racing you need to consider the contribution of the sway bar's spring rate on cornering.

This is what I found for my 63. Should be the same for the 64.
