1965 Impala Wiper Motor Wiring - Simple Question

Hi folks - I have a rebuilt two speed wiper motor for my 1965. I purchased the harness required and have the two speed switch. It's real clear how the harness connects to the motor and switch. What I'm not clear on (and can't tell from my assembly manual) is how the 12V source wire connects to the motor. I believe it should connect to the middle terminal of the three blade connector. The middle terminal has a siamesed connector (side by side) connection, but one of the blades is covered by the plastic cover on the motor - which hits me as odd. I'm really not sure how a 12v wire gets in there.

I'm guessing the answer is simple - can anyone share a description or a pic of how it goes together? I'm slowly piecing together an unfinished car - having a ball, but some things just aren't apparent.

Thanks in advance for all the help.

OK little hard to explain. You see where the 3 wire connector on your wiper motor plugs in? The center wire is the hot that supplies power to the wiper motor and switch. There is a extra connection above that center hot wire. But its not hot until you plug in the wire from the firewall harness. That harness runs across the top of the firewall.

Ok, thanks for the feedback. I gathered that's where 12V is attached, strangely enough my motor has a large plastic cover that bifurcates the two center connectors (meaning one is exposed, the one that connects to the three blade connector, and the other one is actually under the plastic cover - the cover comes down right between the two. I'm wondering if I just need to bend the cover and make sure both are exposed (perhaps it's just a bit deformed) as it doesn't seem like the connector should be hidden.
