loss of power to ignition

I'm stumped!.. I can roll car over but I am losing power to hei distributor... this power problem is intermittent as some time I can get car running but it will just die after a few seconds....sometimes it will run much longer....I can get it running by hot wiring it...I've cleaned all I MEAN ALL! connections.. firewall, fuse block, horn relay, battery, solenoid, starter, neutral safety switch. I cant find any broken, burnt or melted wires. Its frustrating as the power sometime reappears almost magically without touching anything. when power disappears the power is lost to top 2 posts on fuse block with power on right side of fuse only

Before you buy your three new replacement wire harnesses (one from the bottom of the fire wall to the front of the bumper, the second from the fuse box inside the car cabin, and finally the last section that goes from the cabin interior to the back bumper) try first disconnecting the positive lead off the battery and then unbolting the fuse box at the bottom of the fire wall to clean Inside the fuse box the connectors found there (both male and female terminals with a stainless steel brush).
