Sending unit for 66 Caprice w/Gauges

Need some help regarding the correct sending unit for a 66 Caprice with the factory coolant temp gauge. (Console model w/4 gauge cluster)

Bought the car as a project that was a partially completed restoration and the previous owner apparently lost/never got around to installing the sender.

Any ideas which sender I need? (Part #, picture, whatever you're willing to share.)

Thanks

Sending unit

You should have a single green wire wrapped in a cloth type loom with a single connector on the end:

If you need the sending unit wiring, contact Donny on here from American Auto Wire, he propbably has the sending unit also.

Thanks Paul,

I do have the wire but have been looking all over for a sender listed for "with a gauge". (Guess I didn't look in the right place.)

The correct part number is 1513321. Do not buy an over the counter replacement as the gauge will read too high. Get one of the repros we make, or an NOS one as they have the proper specific resistance to make the gauge read properly.
