65 Impala Under dash and tail lights question

Hello all,

I have a 65 Impala and can't seem to get the instrument panel and tail lights to work. I've changed fuses and ran a separate wire to the tail lights to check for continuity. Any suggestions??

Did you test both sides of the fuse at the fuse box to see if you have power up to the fuse?

A few years back I had a car that had burnt that wire off, no power up to the fuse.

Welcome to the Team Paul!

If nothing else these old cars will teach you everything there is to know about DC circuits by the time you get everything working again.

I like the idea of using a separate wire for ground as that is my first test using a 25 foot reel of 10 gage wire with a battery size alligator clip on one end and a broken indicator light on the other used as a probe to determine if grounding is the problem (most of the time it is).
