68 impala floor shift conversion

I'm converting my 68 impala from a column shift to a floor shift. I want to know if its a way I can wire up the console and neutral safety switch to my existing under dash wire harness ?

Yes if you know which wires to splice into. The neutral safety switch attaches to the floor boards and is activated by the factory MUNCIE floor shifter linkage (not a Hurst aftermarket shifter, which uses a dedicated Hurst safety switch that bolts to the sifter).

Most aftermarket automatic cable operated shifters have a safety switch in the body and it is just a mater of wiring it into your ignition wiring. Those style shifters are not console friendly (though the factory console can be modified to accept one if that is your hearts desire).
