Adding a fuse box

I want to add an additional fuse box that turns on with ignition power. I want to add some floor lights and connect the radio into it ect. Where or how does one wire that up?

These books describe DC circuits, and componetns. They tell you how to choose and route and terminate your wires and how to employ relays, switches, and fuse boxes and power strips.

I would tap into the the hot side of the fuse box where it has a spade terminal cleverly labeled IGN. I would use that to power a sixty to seventy five amp relay to provide power to an AGC fuse box to power your added accessories. I would also use a 4 gauge wire as a ground back to the battery for your fuse box rather than rely upon the chassis to ground it.

Never been a fan of multiple fuse boxes and the like. You might want to look into a painless, they have a 28 circuit muscle car harness. Replace all your old wiring and get the added circuits you need. Also get rid of the older fuse style and add a newer style blade fuse. Nothing educates someone on how an electrical circuit works than actually rewiring the circuit themselves.
