Security Light and Door Lock fuse keeps burning out.

My 2003 Impala has two problems. My door lock/trunk fuse keeps burning out and my security light comes on all the time. I have taken it into a dealership and they keep changing the fuse but they cannot figure out why my security light comes on. Does anyone know if these two problems are connected?

Well I figured out the security light problem. I had a key chain with lots of stuff on it. The other day my car key and remote fell off it. I never bothered to put them back together and since then my security light never comes on again.

I took my car back to the dealership and the body control module needs replacing. They said that was causing the fuse to burn.

Angry

Oh no, my husband talked me out of getting the extended warranty. The dealership wants to charge $455.00 to fix it. I'll have to shop around.
