1974 Caprice Convertible Power Window Motor

Hi Everyone,

I have a 74 caprice convertible with power windows the rear passenger motor needs to be installed. Does anyone know if the motor is installed on the side closest to the body or closest to the interior? I can't get the rear driver side metal panel off to check how that one is bolted up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

I know about a 66 but not a 74. Assuming they'd be close to the same...The motor is on the interior side of the mechanism.

Thanks Chris, if that's the case they sent me the wrong motor. Makes sense why I couldn't get it installed.

Classic Industries had the wrong part # on their end, essentially I was shipped the driver side instead of passenger side.

Thanks again
