Door Lock Issue

I have a 69 4dr and I can't seem to fix the driver side lock. The pin that holds the rod to the tumbler keeps comming off. I have replaced the tumbler and the pin and the rod but still no luck. can anyone help ?

Not familiar with that particular year...however most all the old cars are the same...
There should be a small little clip that holds the rod to the tumbler...

Look at the door lock rods. They say they are for '61-64 but maybe close ....

Maybe some one else with more knowledge will chime in ... hope this helped.

Some models have a circular spring that holds the rod to the lock /tumbler

Not really bad the link is still working and i can still benefit from this link you provided hammerit. I am really having hard time looking for door lock switch for my 64' on you tube. Is this the most affordable site that you know? Any other resources guys? Thanks.
