GM beat Chrysler to the punch! GM goes back to 1908 and had a working example of every car ever sold (first and last production model plus any car show proto-types). They also kept their test mules and significant cars used to promote GM. The entire collection occupying seven blocks of four story warehouses was sold off to the who ever bid with no reserves. The first Camaro sold for peanuts as did the last of each model year. Ever wanted to by a brand new zero mileage SS 1964 409-409; just missed it all gone to people who will make a killing reselling these treasures. Those that were not sold were all crushed as the warehouse were closed and everything cleared out under the bankruptcy to generate cash for bond holders.

it was really interesting to see a lot of the old GM archive vehicles sold at Barrett Jackson earlier this year. Some really cool cars found great new homes!!!

That hurt, bad. Very, very bad. It hurts to think of the rare, original, zero miles cars that no longer are with us.
