I got an interesting call today...

I'm doing a '67 Impala four door hard top to look like the one in the TV series "Supernatural". I have some parts for sale off one of the parts cars I had. This guy calls and wants just the chrome off the doors I saved.

We get to talking and not only does he have another four door hard top, he's doing the same thing with his! Except this guy is on a whole 'nother level. He's been in close contact with the guys that built the show car. He has part numbers, color codes, THE ADDRESS OF THE GUY WHO STITCHED THE INTERIOR, everything. It was exciting to talk with him. It got me a little more motivated to get cracking on our car again.

The best part is, he only lives about 2 1/2 hours from us. I picture a few road trips in the future.

To refresh everyone's memory, here's what we're building.....

Don't listen to me, what do I know? I've only been doing this for 30 years.

That's great, on my limited budget I am trying to do the same thing with my 4dr '68! You have any pictures of your work in progress?

This is the best picture I have of it so far...

We have the correct wheels on it now, too. It's been hibernating out in the tent in the back yard. I'm waiting for some nice weather to start the body work. Here's a short video of it running. It's not completely hooked up, so it can't run very long.

good lookin ride, if you weren't going black, I've seen a few on this website that look good just the way yours does right now, all rusty, but all redone inside and under the hood. Keep us updated, it's going to be a great ride
