Yeah that was featured in one of the car mags three or four months ago. A guy with way more more money than sense.
The amount he spent building that diesel rig with all of those blowers on top he could have hogged a big block Chevy V-16 out of a solid block of aluminum the same way Sony Leonard builds his BBC hemi race engines (of course you now need to hog out two V-16 heads out of two more blocks of aluminum and carve a billet crankshaft out of a piece of round chromemoly bar stock and a cam out of another rod). Then he would have a 2000 thousand cubic inch big block that cranks out over three thousand horse power on pump gas.
Just a thought. First thing I am going to buy when I win the lottery is a five axis CNC mill that can handle a six foot cube of aluminum, with all of the tooling.
