Just a friendly trailer PSA

Heading out tomorrow to get a parts car for my 60 and I was hooking up the trailer and thought "man I haven't checked my tire pressures in awhile." My buddy had the trailer this week to bring a one ton dually to scrap and that sucker was LOADED! So anyway I checked the pressures and they should have been at 50 psi and they were all at 20 or less!! I about crapped myself. Like most anything when it just sits then you hook up to it and use it sometimes you just forget the simple things.
So I went through the tire pressures and greased up the wheel bearings and such so I'm good to go. I just thought I'd throw a reminder out there for everyone else that may be hooking up to their trailer tomorrow.

I did that last week, Found a flat on the right rear. Had a small piece of metal in it from the last trip to Cincinnati to rescue a buddy. Brand new trailer tires. DA#%$T

I've been lucky **knocks on wood** with my tires considering the trips to the scrap yard and all the junk I've hauled on it.

Trip went well 150 miles round trip home safely

Same here, I try to keep nice tires on it, as its not unusual for me to travel 300 miles + after a parts car on short notice.
