Hi
What was the top 327 in 66, just wondering . could you get the L-79 . and looking for some photos of the engine compartment.
my car was a straight 6 originally and someone swapped a v8 in it and I just wanted to see what a stock one looked like.

Also what is the differance between a Belair and a Biscayne .

L79 (327/350) was available in 1965 and 1966. Here are pictures of the L79 in a 1965 Chevelle SS (not mine, unfortunately).

The top 327 in 66 for B body cars was 275 hp (no L79's).

The difference between Biscayne and Bel Air is trim level.

So , new at these B body cars, what and where can I get factory assembly manuals. who parts catalogs do you use. what companies are out there. is the a specific B body parts supplier.
