Leaking windshield

My windshield is leaking in at least two places. When I called auto glass place, I was quoted $85 to remove it, put new rubber and put the windshield back. This is with me supplying rubber gasket and new windshield because they said that it could break when they are going to be removing it. I did not take the trim out yet to inspect for rust, but looking at the rest of the car, I think the issue is with worn out rubber and not with rust.

So what are my options? What other models have interchangeable windshields and when can I get rubber gasket for 1970 Kingswood? I guess other option is to try to seal it but it is only a temporary solution.

you can contact these guys for a new windshield seal: https://secure.steelerubber.com/homeframes.html

if available (i'm sure it is) i'd remove any/all interior trim and using a razor knife cut away the old seal. once cut away with a friends help the windshield can be easily removed. clean/inspect for rust damages and repair... then reinstall the glass
