67 Impala with Hide-Aways?

I caught this online- never saw this done before; hide-away headlights on a '67. Obviously custom but pretty cool looking:

that is interesting, and I like that ride too. soo many cool cars out in Cali....wish I was there for some of those shows.

Actually now that I look at it I think it's a Caprice.

Someone did real some real good work on that one. That's the way it probably would had looked if GM did it. If we didn't know any better we would think it was original.

By the way, it is an Impala. A Caprice would have the special style Caprice roof on it.

I've seen pictures of this car before. Gorgeous paint and some really neat GM accessories. For some reason I thought it was a full grille without headlights rather then an operating hideaway headlight system but I could be wrong. I've toyed with trying to create a T83 setup on a 67 before. All I need is time!!
