She's mine!! With a little setback lol

Well, the deal went through today, I am now an F-body owner again. The car needs body work, lol. It's got a spray paint special paint job on it. My Biscayne by far "looks" better than this Camaro but the real deal is in the parts on the car. The previous owner had just added Wilwood disc brakes, autometer carbon fiber gauges with carbon fiber gauge panel, Flaming River steering column with billet shaft, new upper and lower dash, has a 77' center console in it with a megashifter, new front bumper (he bought the one piece, I think I'll go with the split one), rebuilt motor/tranny (350 with lots of goodies and a TH350, this thing hauls!), Hooker long tubes with x-pipe and dual flowmaster 50 series, all new suspension, new carpet, SCAT procar seats, new door panels, etc etc. So basically it's the opposite of the Biscayne. I had the outside pretty much done but needed to finish the interior, the Camaro is the other way around. The guy installed a painless wiring harness but butchered the install all up, that's where my setback comes in. I was driving it to work and the damn thing just shut off. I know it has to be a lose connection somewhere, just have to track it down. She got her first tow today lol. Well here are some pics, I'll get some of the inside tomorrow, but she's mine!!! bwwaaahahahahaha

Time to update your signature.

Cool car. I've always had a soft spot for the second gen Camaros; my brother had a big block 70 1/2 when I was a teenager, so it was my first impression of muscle cars. His was yellow too...

glad it went through and you're happy with the deal.

that picture of the door is baaaad, lol. like you said, quick paint job, one of those "good from far, far from good" kind of deals.

sounds nice and deep at idle too. welcome back to the Camaro owners club!

Sweet ride. The only thing I don't like is the mufflers sitting all the way in the back.

Make: Chevrolet
Model: Impala
Year: 1971
Doors: 4
Motor: 400 V8
Tranny: TH350

That will be gone soon. Once I put her back together I will be moving the mufflers to underneath with chrome tips out the back

Nice ride. I always liked Camaros, but now I would probably be thinking twice before trading my wagon for one

Ya, I did have to think for a minute but my love for Camaro's took over lol. See the sign in the back of the garage? (Camaro Country)

I've had that for about 10 years I'd say.
