Assembly Section?

I bought an assembly maunal off eBay a few months ago for my 61, and it might as well have been printed in chinese (not to offend anyone) Its not that its a bad manual, its just too vauge for me, but I was thinkin is there a way we could have a section where you can just have a database of pictures descriptions and such so someone whos looking to put something back together on their car they can just come here and look instead of goin nuts trying to figure it out and possibly making matters worse (not too sure if that would be copyright infringement or not) I know the owners of the site might be concerned with space and bandwith and all that mumbojumbo where might be a problem, and trying to make sure you get all the diffrent fullsize models around but with all the knowledge flying around here on the site I'm more than sure it could be possible with the help of everyone, just throwing it out there

Problem with that is all of those illustrations (unless you drew them yourself) are copyrighted material and could get the board shut down for violation of copyright laws. That is why I try and sketch or photograph as much as I do to get around that problem.

The assembly manual is one of four GM books. Between the four books every part is listed and a description (not always a picture) is made of every part and how it is attached to the car. Before computers and instant texting people used to read books so you might have to plow through a thousand words for every "missing" picture.

Its not the manual was bad I was just very very vauge, it included most of the full size models in the book like station wagons nd 4 doors what not, I wasnt aware there were four books, I just got 300 some photocopied pages with a "table of contents" every few pages that really didnt mean jack and a bunch of pictures of what is supposed to go where kinda and the part #, what I wasnt suggesting trying to infinge on any copyrights GM or any of there affiliates may have, I guess im going to have to try my best and figure it out and hope it will hold up, I kinda wish I took the car apart myslef tho hahahahaha
