Wheel off center

Put the car back on its own weight after a front end rebuild and noticed the driver side wheel is about 2" off center.

I couldn't get the stabilizer bar lined up with the LCA either.

The coil spring came out of its pocket and needs to be reseated, and other than that the only difference from the passenger side which sits right is I put the bushings in in reverse. I have a hard time imguaning that either of those two issues are causing this nearly 2" discrepancy.

Any ideas what to check?

Need to elaborate upon which bushings you were referring too.

Stabilizer bar should fit unless the A-arms were pushed out board. The bushings that hold the bar are located by the frame rails not the suspension, and the end links have a lot of play as to in or out board that was built in by their up and down clearance allowance.

Bushings I'm referring to are on the LCA. Though now that I think through it, I'm pretty sure I installed them in the same configuration. Metal cups on the frontside, and bushing face with the 'rubber neck' facing the back of the car.

On the P side, the stabilizer bar lined up almost perfectly. On the D side, it's also off about 2". I can't even force it into place close enough to get a bolt through either hole on the driver side. I almost adjusted the bushing & nut position on the stabilizer bar to get it mounted to the LCA, but clearly the LCA (or something else) is off a fair amount. Up and down wise, it's within tolerance. It's the front to back that's causing me issues. The stabilizer bar sticks out past the top of the LCA.

I have no doubt the LCA alignment is out of spec, but I can't for the life of me think of what would have made an almost 2" front to back differential.
