Chrome molding around winshield

Is taking the chrome molding off around the windshield a difficult process? I have never had to do it before on any of the cars I have owned.

Thanks

Piece of cake once you figure out on how to do it

Make sure you get the trim removal tool or make one from coat hanger or something. I bought one on Ebay for $7 which was half the price for similar one from AutoZone.

Basically you need to insert the removal tool under the trim, move it along the trim until you hit a clip. Once you locate clip, try to grab it with the tool and pull towards middle of the windshield. It should allow the trim to snap out of it. Start at one of the ends and move forward.

I had mine off in 5 minutes but I had to ask friend for help with first few pins until he showed me how to do it.

I think it was $7 shipped. Definitely less than AutoZone's price. Otherwise I would just go to the store and buy it.

This is the one I have: link. The only difference is that mine does not have the sleeve around the handle. You pay extra for it
