1965 Impala SS Convertible Sun Visor Brackets

Help!!!! I am in need of a pair of 1965 Sun Visor Brackets. I have purchased so many after market and used ones off EBay that say they will fit a 65 but none of them don't. I have a early model 65. The aftermarket ones available will screw in and mount but not flush against the windshield frame. I have been chasing a pair for a few month now with no luck. They have to come off a true 65 nothing else will work. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.....have you seen that the after market ones from like Year One and/or Late Great Chevy do not fit as well??? I have found out and been told that early model 65s are different. Do you find this true?

The first year of any model change frequently has unique parts that do not fit later model cars. This is because the stylist render their final proposal, the engineers built it to plan, and the accounts say the following year that it isn't profitable and has to be made cheaper. The 1965 model was the first year of the 1965-'70 model line.

I have a very nice pair off of a 65 Pontiac catalina. Looking at the pic you posted I cannot verify that they are the same. I will look later and get back. I have had these for about 15 years
