62SS Winsheild Washer

I have a container to hold fluid, I see nozzles to spray fluid, what I don't see is:
A washer pump... any hints or pictures of one, lol...

Don't know where yours was but I would follow the hose from the glass bottle that held fluid. On newer cars it is part of the wind-sheild wiper motor assembly (attached to the transmission that reduces the RPM before turning the exterior crank arm.

1962 was the last year of having the pump separate from the wiper motor. It might also have only been an option also, but I am not sure about that. An NOS unit is up on E-bay, but they want $375 for it. Classic industries makes an aftermarket kit that is universal and has the pump and plastic bottle for less than $50. That leaves it up to you to decide if factory correct is the way you want to go. Or you can look at 1959 to 1962 GM vehicles to find the correct one. A lot of times things like this were more common on the Cadillac, Buick, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac brands.

Note: Newer vehicles have moved to a stand alone pump and you may be able to retrofit one of them into your system as well and they look cheap on E-bay.
