What's this?

I'm restoring the driver's door of my 1963 Impala SS (rust-proofing, new water shield and new door panel). While vacuuming the inside of the door my nozzle sucked up the item in the first photo. It was loose on the bottom of the door. It is threaded for a bolt and is pretty thick metal. I can't tell where it goes. Also, the second photo shows a thinner piece which fell off someplace on the door while I was vacuuming and I can't tell where it was located and what it holds either. I'm a bit of a stickler for putting things back where they belong so any help would be appreciated.

Looks like part of a door hinge. Car may have been hit in the past and to pry door open some one busted the cast iron hinge.

Actually, the 1st part is the bottom of the Vent Window Regulator. If it works now, then someone changed it out at some point.

The 2nd one looks like a Rod Clip. Check all the small Rods in the Door Release mechanisms including the Lock and the Latch assembly.

Found out what the smaller fastener was for... the left bolt that holds on the armrest. Guess it's pretty important after all! I was able to put it back.

The vent window works fine so I guess I won't worry about the bigger fastener. Thanks!
