Local Car show pictures

I was bored....figured I'd share.
I did sneak in some pictures of friends cars. The lowered Black Regal is on hydraulics, the tan/beige Fairlane is super clean, and the blue 79 Mustang Cobra is pretty much a race car with a 13-1CR engine and [email protected]" cam in a small block motor.

Got ya, Its a pink 66. BA, do you know the owner of the Fairlane? I use to work with the guy that built it. I don't know if he still owns it. Haven't talked to him in a few years.

arg! I wasn't paying attention to my typing. '66 it is!

The beige Fairlane is my buddy Don Menards. I'm fairly certain that he picked it up in Florida. It had been garaged forever and had super low mileage,...like 40k or 6ok or something.

Same one? He has owned it for many years I believe. I can get better info the next time I see him.

The black '68 Chevelle is beautiful! I have a hard top version in my garage. (unfinished, of course)

Don't listen to me, what do I know? I've only been doing this for 30 years.

It's a twin to my friends car. And he's in the Dayton area also.

Being a die hard GM guy all my life, I hate to admit it but: That new Challenger is a great looking car. I think of the 3 (Ford, GM & Chrysler), the Challenger is the best looking of the 3 retro looking cars recently introduced. The one you took the photo of is gorgeous. If only it wasn't a Chrysler!

This thread is a good idea. With car show season starting all over the country, we could post pictures of local events to let everyone see the various cars around the country, maybe giving someone an idea about their current build.

Ha I said "...PINK!!?" and then read your comment.

That Muntz Jet convertible is very rare. I had to look that up. Odd collector item. According to this article there's an estimated 50 of them left. Interesting backround on the car:

Yeah, it's not often I see a car I don't recognize and when I saw the word MUNTZ on the side,....then I knew I had to get some pictures of it!

This same interior shop had a NICE 1967 Camaro Pace Car on a previous visit. I heard it was on it's way to the Indianapolis Mecum Auction. (ended up a no-sale)
Can't find my picture of that beauty, dangit.

nice pics

Ditto on the challenger...We go to Costco just about every week to load up for the kids...and pass right by the Dodge dealer...They tease me by putting that darn thing right on the corner...first the blue, then the red...was bad enough...then the plum crazy Hemi came out...hate going to Costco now....lol...being a "body by fisher" nutcase helps, but that car turns me on.
