Alternator bracket mounting issue

Been working on mounting onto my recently rebuilt 327 short block and Im confused about this. I have two brackets saying they are for the alternator that came off the engine originally. I cant find any information, diagrams, etc. on the rear mounts or proper placement of these two brackets. Any photo I have is found obscures the mount on the ram head exhaust manifold or the photographer is too high.

Ive got three books which none have any clear statement on mounting these properly, proper bolt sizes, as well. Can anyone help?

1967 used a short water pump that had an upper alternator mounting bracket as a single bar of curved steel with a slot at one end and a hole to go in the intake manifold threaded hole up front.

Your first picture is for a later model long water pump, not the short which is why it misses by 5/8th of an inch. Other bracket looks like a Power Steering Bracket but I could be wrong.
