Epoxy paint / coating

I need to paint my metal work-bench but I want to do it once and be done so I was thinking of trying a 2-part epoxy and brushing it on the top, then just spray-canning the legs.
Unfortunately, I haven't had any luck finding a product even after checking Eastwood and Lowes/Home Depot and a little Google search.
The garage floor , 2-part epoxy would probably do the trick, but that's 2 gallons of material and I probably need like a quart or just a little more.
I've seen some 1-part epoxy paints - but I'm suspicious of their durability for a garage work-bench.

Has anyone tried something for their garage work bench? FWIW - mine is metal, not wood.

the Product line people at Rust-Oleum recommended their "professional enamel" in the gallon size to brush on. I'm a bit skeptical on its' durability for a work-bench.

Well since you don't mind that it will be painted black I recommend POR-15.

One coat, good forever.
