1965 Frame VS 1968 Frame

This is my first post here and I'm looking forward to meeting many good people. My question is does anyone know if I can use a 1965 Impala fastback frame under my 1968 Impala fastback? The only diff I can see is where the idler arm mounts up. Everything else looks the same. Hope someone can help me out. Thanks!

The frame will fit but you may have to change the upper control arms as I believe there is a difference in either the length or the size of the bushing can not remember which. The 1965-'70 cars are all the same beneath the trim with minor engineering changes to improve the car over time.

You are right about the idler arms being different, no big deal. Dave is referring the the rear upper control arms. The '65-'66 were longer than the '67-'70.

Thanks to both of you for responding. So if I use the 65 frame, then I need to use the 65 upper rear control arms and the front idler arm and I should be good?
