Diffrence between sedan and sports sedan?

I know everybody thanks a impala should only have 2 doors I have a sports sedan is the only diffrence between the 4 doors is one has no post? I like my 4 door it's candy blue and nice. I always wanted a 62-64 impala 2 door project but I'm lucky to have what I got. What the diffrence in 4 doors. Thanks everyone

As you suspect the difference is a lack of a visible post when the windows are down (they have a chromed metal frame surrounding the window glass instead of plain glass without any frame as can be found on some convertibles and hard tops). The sedan has not only a door frame that frames the window providing a channel that is air tight, but a "B" pillar that is visible when both doors are open. The Sports Sedan is missing the "B" pillar and as such isn't as strong structurally as a full sedan car when it comes time to race it (or another way of saying the weaker car squeaks more).
