The "Turkey Trots" are held each year inside the high oval banked track at Daytona Beach's NASCAR facility each Thanksgiving week end. It takes three days just to see every booth set up there, so you can't take that much time out to shop. What ever you want you will find it there as it is the biggest swap meet in the south east.

They rarely bring sheet metal to a show as it is bulky and easily damaged. You might be able to get a catalog on a CD from some of the vendors. As stated the car corals will have a lot of cars for sale if you need a parts car.

i was hoping to pay for the parts ahead of time and see if they would bring it to the show.have done this befor when a I built my chevelle.I have contacted a few vender but have not had even one response yet.you would think in todays bad economy venders would be doing everything possible.I would be happy even to get a "no" response rather than none at all.

There isn't a lot of tin repoped for the big B-body cars compared to the A-body cars or the F-bodies where you can get your choise oof a complete steel body in white as a hard top or convertible for either 1967-'68 or 1969. You can also build a complete 1957 Chevy from parts but not a 1955 or '56 just yet. These cars are UNDISCOVERED so they are cheap if you can find one to use as a parts car. Don't forget that Olds, Buick and Pontiac and even Cadillac shared a lot of common parts with the Chevy so don't restrict yourself in that regard.
