Shucks and I thought it might be in Brooksville Florida (home of the famous Weeki Wachee underwater mermaid show). Went to the car show in Dade City on the other side of the county from Weeki Wachee in Brooksville today since the weather was perfect.

It was 68 degrees in Dade City but there was a 19-21 mph constant breeze that had every one dressed up in their Mucluks and Parkas.

It hadn't rained in about a month so everyone was willing to risk their candy painted cars out of doors (someone should explain to them that candy paint won't disolve in rain as they will not come out if there is a cloud in the sky for fear of a rain drop destroying their car's paint job).

I took pictures of 63 cars that I have not seen before but there was probably about 250 to 300 cars there that I saw with more arriving as I left covering nine blocks and the surounding businesses parking lots.

I didn't make it, but made assembly progress on mine, so, ....I guess that's a good excuse.

Wasn't much of a swap meet for Impala people. It was put on by the Dayton Buckeye Model A club at a Chevrolet dealership. It was 95% Ford parts! I wondered why all the Ford people looked at us wierd.
