Most of my old hot rods were sent to the salvage yards. Four different kids have bought my old cars and killed them selves (and others) by driving like a maniac on the street with them. I now pull all of my motors and sell only the old cars to the crusher or as rollers to guys I know want a race car to live on a trailer (two of those were destroyed at the track; one at Tamap Drag strip the other at Gainsville Raceway during Gatornationals when the driver rolled them after bouncing off a wall on the top end).

Sheez Big Dave that's an aweful legacy there. Sounds like the storyline for the movie Christine...

That site is one hellova database but who actually has records of the VIN numbers of their old cars?

LOL.. um, I do! I have records to (almost) every car going back to my 1st car - a 1960 T-bird I bought in 1976! (sigh) .. I know for sure that one went to the crusher. What a sad day that was.
