Getting my 64 home to cali.

Need help! or info. My wife has a 64 SS that is in Mexico, its a calif. car its been stored for 15 years. How do I get it home from there?

Hopefully she has the title in her name. If so grab a trailer and haul it out. Be sure to allot time for the drug dog inspection.

Documentation is going to be the critical step. Import papers, bill of sale from when you bought it, title, and receipts from the storage house would help not only that you own it but that it hasn't left your possession.

And be prepared for some still fines from California if you have not had it registered the whole time.

Thanks for the reply, we had it stored at her house in Mexico. She had family checking on it through out the years.
