No spammers or heavy moderation?

I am just curious if this board is heavily moderated or we just simply do not get spammers here? I belong to other forums and yes, they have a lot more traffic, but also a lot of spammers. Now this site looks like it is spam free.

Anyway, keep up the good work moderators!

Glad to be a part of TI.

Some boards don't have the "captcha" login script where you have to key in the number/letter combination randomly generated in an image. That requires actual visual participation and is supposed to hamper auto login scripts by spammer "bots".

I used to run a hobby BBS for about 10 years and before I had that in place those pesty bots would register 50-100 bogus names per week just to SPAM. It's a real problem out there. So yes, nice job here Team Impala!

For a long time, I just thought there weren't that many B-body fans then I realized that either the board has tighter controls, or we're all just a better group of folks. I'd like to think the latter... I have yet to see an argument or a tiff of any kind. And I HATE that kind of drama.

Thanks to all the level-headed folks for keeping it this way!

Most of the guys here grew up with these cars when they were new so they are able to act in a mature manner by virtue of being old to ancient. I try and watch three boards I moderate on; but my internet went down Thursday night and i just got it back up again today. So I am looking for problems now.

I am not a teenager but I also did not grew up around cars from 60s-70s. So every time I leave my car, somebody that's looking at it will shortly look with disbelief at me and then shoot the questions. I guess nobody is expecting such car to be driven by guy in his late 30s.
